Audiogalaxy is a very innovative audio streaming tool. It allows you to play the music on your computer from any web browser, from any computer connected to the Internet. Audiogalaxy uses a "helper" that installs on your computer and finds your music and shares it with the Audiogalaxy service. Right now, there are helpers for Mac and Windows. There are also apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and Android phones that can be used to listen to the music on your computer; in technical words, to stream from your PC or Mac to your iPhone.
It was extremely easy to install and use the application. The helper detected my MP3 songs automatically and they showed on the web interface, on Audiogalaxy.com. From the web interface, I could browse my Artists, Albums and Playlists (which you can create online). I like that you can create playlists, and basically listen to your collection from a web browser when you are at friends' house or at a party. Another feature I like is "Shuffle Collection" which plays random songs from your library.
If you have an iPhone or Android phone, you can listen to your music at home whenever you have an Internet connection. The quality of the music was just fine in my opinion.
